The poster session for the 2017 Western Forum for Migrant and Community Health has been cancelled.  If you have questions, please contact jburkard@nwrpca.org.

You are invited to display a poster, highlighting research and/or program activities relevant to health and healthcare for underserved populations.  Each presentation will be assigned a freestanding 30” x 40” foam board on which diagrams, graphs, data, pictures and text may be mounted. Please note that wall space is not available, so all display pieces must be attached to the poster board.  There will also be minimal table space for handouts.

WHEN:     February 22, 2017, 5:30-6:30pm (immediately prior to Welcome Reception)

LOCATION:  Holiday Inn - Golden Gateway, San Francisco, CA

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  January 27, 2017

PREPARATION TIPS: A poster session is a way for presenters to display their information and a means for informal discussion on the presentation topic.  Posters should be easily understood in the absence of the author(s). Poster content should be clearly divided into sections, including an introduction, problem definition (focus of study), work summary, results, and conclusions.

General guidelines are:

  1. Legibility: The poster should be legible from a distance of at least 3 feet.
  2. Heading: A heading label including the title, author name(s), and the primary author(s) address should be included. The recommended lettering size is 1-3/16”, mounted at the top of the poster board.
  3. Titles: All figures, tables, charts, and/or images should be titled or captioned.
  4. Dimensions: Poster material is limited to the dimension (30" x 40") of the foam board provided by Northwest Regional Primary Care Association.

Please fully complete in the submission form below.  If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Burkard, jburkard@nwrpca.org.
